Basic Cake Flavors

A Sweet Taste of Charleston takes pride in
providing the best product possible. All of our
wedding cakes are made on premise and never
frozen. We have 12 different "basic" cake flavors
that we offer. The flavors listed apply to
"basic" cakes and cakes with fondant icing. They
can be mixed and matched at no additional charge.

We have three different scratch cake flavors that
we offer. We will also be more than happy to bake
your mother's or grandmother's favorite recipe

Fillings
|
|
Fillings are an option on all cakes except the
"mini-tier" wedding cakes. If you choose not to
have a filling, we use icing between the layers.

All of our cheesecakes are made from scratch.
They are iced with whip cream and can be topped

Icings

Due to the weather in Charleston, we only
recommend using either Buttercream Icing or
Fondant if you are having an outside reception or
party. Our Buttercream Icing is not made with
actual butter, therefore, it will not melt at
room temperature or at warmer temperatures. If
the reception or party is going to be indoors, we
have a variety of icing to choose from, they
